The Pauwela Cannery Center is located in Haiku at 375 W. Kuiaha Road, about a mile up from the Hana Highway and 2 miles west of the Haiku Community. Formerly the Libby, McNeil Pineapple Cannery in the 1920s through 1961, it has been repurposed over the ensuing decades as a great incubator for new and small "local" businesses. The unique Haiku lifestyle is reflected in the "old is new" historical Center's vintage industrial outward appearance that houses over 40 very modern bustling enterprises. We offer unique finds among a variety of casual food establishments, art & art studios, multiple kinds of manufacturing services, surfboard shapers, as well as wellness & beauty services.
